SHINGLEROOFING

Conditions we plan for in Sylmar

Nobody roofs Sylmar the way they roof a tract in the desert, and sun on the exposed slopes dries out the cheap underlayments early. The shop is about 21 miles northwest, which is why we can be out the same day.

Crews rotate through San Fernando, Pacoima and Mission Hills, so the drive is routine.

• Gutters are pulled and refitted where they block a proper drip edge.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted properly instead of being crushed by a ladder.
• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.

Leaks found in summer cost a fraction of the same leak found in February. Ask for the inspection, keep the report, and decide in your own time.

Standards we hold on every Sylmar job

Workmanship coverage is ours to honour, and we are still here to honour it.

• Synthetic underlayment goes down over the whole deck, not just the valleys.
• Most homes take two to four days once material lands.
• The quote lists materials and labour separately so you can see what you are buying.
• One person runs your job and answers the phone the whole way through.

What we see on Sylmar roofs

The job list in Sylmar repeats itself for a reason - gusts funnel down the canyons and lift anything not fastened right. Our shop sits about 21 miles northwest of Sylmar, so a crew is on site the same morning.

Jobs in San Fernando, Pacoima and Mission Hills run alongside this one most weeks.

• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• Tear-off debris leaves the same day; nobody is left with a pile over the weekend.
• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Dry-in happens the same day the old roof comes off; nothing sits open overnight.

We would rather find the problem in the dry months and fix it on a schedule. If a repair solves it, we quote the repair instead of selling a replacement.

Before, during and after

You get a text when the crew is coming and a walk-through when they are done.

• Warranty paperwork is registered for you, not left in a folder for you to chase.
• You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.
• We show you the soft spots before they are covered, not after.
• Plants and pool equipment are covered before tear-off begins.
