METALROOFING

Forest Hill in detail

If you own property in Forest Hill, the local conditions decide what your roof needs: fog drip keeps the north side wet long enough to grow moss. From the yard it is roughly 338 miles northwest to Forest Hill - no travel surcharge, no week-long wait.

Crews rotate through Twin Peaks, West Portal and Inner Sunset, so the drive is routine.

• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.
• Magnet sweeps run morning and evening, which matters on a street with kids and bare feet.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted where they block a proper drip edge.

Book in the dry months and the whole job happens on dry decking. You get photos, measurements and a plain explanation before any work is booked.

Standards we hold on every Forest Hill job

The site is cleaned daily, and the last magnet pass happens before the crew leaves.

• One person runs your job and answers the phone the whole way through.
• Edges are fastened to spec because that is where uplift starts.
• Weather delays are called early rather than left to surprise you.
• Change orders are written and signed, never verbal.

What changes on a Forest Hill roof

If you own property in Forest Hill, the local conditions decide what your roof needs: wind off the water drives rain sideways into laps that face it. The shop is about 338 miles northwest, which is why we can be out the same day.

The same trucks cover Twin Peaks, West Portal and Inner Sunset, which keeps callbacks quick.

• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted where they block a proper drip edge.
• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.
• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.

The crews fill up fast when the first storm is on the ten-day forecast. Call and we will look at the Forest Hill roof, show you photos, and put the price in writing.

What separates a good job from a cheap one

You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.

• We check the attic as well as the roof; half of what we find shows from underneath.
• Drip edge and starter course get installed properly - that is half the wind resistance.
• Underlayment is where corners get cut; we use the system the manufacturer warrants.
• Payment is tied to progress, not demanded up front.
