Metal Roofing Pomona

Notes from Pomona jobs

Nobody roofs Pomona the way they roof a tract in the desert, and whatever fails first on these roofs fails at the edges. We are roughly 28 miles east of Pomona, close enough for a same-day look at a leak.

Crews rotate through La Verne, Claremont and Diamond Bar, so the drive is routine.

• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted properly instead of being crushed by a ladder.
• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Dry-in happens the same day the old roof comes off; nothing sits open overnight.
• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.

The first big storm books out the whole trade, so earlier is cheaper. Call and we will look at the Pomona roof, show you photos, and put the price in writing.

What separates a good job from a cheap one

You get the manufacturer warranty on the materials and ours on the workmanship, both in writing.

• Weather delays are called early rather than left to surprise you.
• Drip edge and starter course get installed properly - that is half the wind resistance.
• Payment is tied to progress, not demanded up front.
• Underlayment is where corners get cut; we use the system the manufacturer warrants.

Working in Pomona

The job list in Pomona repeats itself for a reason - summer radiant heat is the single biggest ager of roofs here. We are 28 miles east of Pomona; crews pass through most days anyway.

You will see our trucks in La Verne, Claremont and Diamond Bar on the same run.

• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Access gets planned first - driveway, staging, dumpster placement - so the street stays usable.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.
• Material is delivered the morning of the job, not left on the driveway for a week.
• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.

Dry-season work books up fast, so the calendar tightens once the first storm forecast lands. We will tell you if the roof has five years left, because that is also useful to know.

The things that actually matter

Soft decking gets replaced, not covered - we quote a sheet count and show you the bad bays.

• Drip edge and starter course get installed properly - that is half the wind resistance.
• We do not ask for large deposits before material is delivered.
• You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.
• Change orders are discussed before anything is done, not billed afterwards.
