METALROOFING

What changes on a Pacoima roof

Most of what we fix in Pacoima traces back to one thing: hillside exposure means uplift at the ridges and UV on the south faces. Our shop sits about 18 miles northwest of Pacoima, so a crew is on site the same morning.

Crews rotate through San Fernando, Arleta and Mission Hills, so the drive is routine.

• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted properly instead of being crushed by a ladder.
• Dry-in happens the same day the old roof comes off; nothing sits open overnight.
• Solar panels get detached and reset on a schedule that matches the roofing crew.
• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.

We would rather be on your roof in September than during the first atmospheric river. Nothing is booked until you have photos, a scope and a written price.

How we work in Pacoima

Weather delays are called early rather than left to surprise you.

• Workmanship coverage is ours to honour, and we are still here to honour it.
• Underlayment is where corners get cut; we use the system the manufacturer warrants.
• Ventilation gets looked at while the roof is open; most Pacoima attics run hotter than they should.
• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.

What the street looks like in Pacoima

Roof life in Pacoima is decided by exposure more than brand, and gusts funnel down the canyons and lift anything not fastened right. We cover Pacoima from about 18 miles northwest, close enough for emergency calls.

We are in San Fernando, Arleta and Mission Hills constantly, and the housing stock is much the same.

• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.
• Access gets planned first - driveway, staging, dumpster placement - so the street stays usable.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.
• Tear-off debris leaves the same day; nobody is left with a pile over the weekend.
• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.

A roof opened in October is a different job from one opened in January. Nothing is booked until you have photos, a scope and a written price.

What you can expect from us

We photograph every slope and penetration so you see what we see before deciding anything.

• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.
• Intake and exhaust are balanced on the same visit - a sealed attic cooks a new roof early.
• You get a text when the crew is coming and a walk-through when they are done.
• Warranty paperwork is registered for you, not left in a folder for you to chase.
