SHINGLEROOFING

Lakewood in detail

We work on Lakewood roofs most weeks, and the pattern is consistent: dry heat shrinks sealants until the details let go. Lakewood is around 15 miles southeast of the shop, which keeps scheduling simple.

The same trucks cover Bellflower, Paramount and Artesia, which keeps callbacks quick.

• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.
• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.
• Where an HOA sets colour or material rules, we match the approved list before the job is quoted.
• We photograph every penetration before and after, so the file shows the work.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.

Leaks found in summer cost a fraction of the same leak found in February. The inspection is free, and so is the second opinion if you already have a quote.

Details that decide a Lakewood roof

Drip edge and starter course get installed properly - that is half the wind resistance.

• Driveways get swept and gutters cleared as part of the job, not as an extra.
• An inspection here means walking the roof, not pointing a camera at it from the driveway.
• Ice-and-water goes in at the valleys and penetrations even though it rarely freezes here.
• You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.

What changes on a Lakewood roof

Most of what we fix in Lakewood traces back to one thing: dry heat shrinks sealants until the details let go. At about 15 miles southeast, Lakewood is an easy run for us, inspection or emergency.

Crews rotate through Bellflower, Paramount and Artesia, so the drive is routine.

• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• We photograph every penetration before and after, so the file shows the work.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.
• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.

A roof opened in October is a different job from one opened in January. No pressure, no same-day-only discount, no hard close.

Our habits on site

Most homes take two to four days once material lands.

• Driveways get swept and gutters cleared as part of the job, not as an extra.
• Change orders are written and signed, never verbal.
• One person runs your job and answers the phone the whole way through.
• You get the manufacturer warranty on the materials and ours on the workmanship, both in writing.
