La Puente Metal Roofing

Notes from La Puente jobs

The short version for La Puente: the weather here punishes details, not products. We are roughly 17 miles east of La Puente, close enough for a same-day look at a leak.

The same trucks cover Industry, West Covina and La Habra Heights, which keeps callbacks quick.

• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.
• Tear-off debris leaves the same day; nobody is left with a pile over the weekend.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.
• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.

A roof opened in October is a different job from one opened in January. Expect photos, a measured scope and a number you can compare against anyone else.

How we run the job in La Puente

Keep the paperwork: it transfers if you sell the house.

• Change orders are discussed before anything is done, not billed afterwards.
• Change orders are written and signed, never verbal.
• Moisture readings go in the report where a leak is suspected but not obvious.
• You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.

A closer look at La Puente

What a roof faces in La Puente is specific, not generic: sun exposure here is relentless from April through October. At about 17 miles east, La Puente is an easy run for us, inspection or emergency.

We work the same streets in Industry, West Covina and La Habra Heights, so crews know the area and its roofs.

• Material is delivered the morning of the job, not left on the driveway for a week.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.
• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• Magnet sweeps run morning and evening, which matters on a street with kids and bare feet.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted properly instead of being crushed by a ladder.

Scheduling before the rains means the whole job happens on dry decking. We will tell you if the roof has five years left, because that is also useful to know.

Details that decide a La Puente roof

Synthetic underlayment goes down over the whole deck, not just the valleys.

• Intake and exhaust are balanced on the same visit - a sealed attic cooks a new roof early.
• Warranty paperwork is registered for you, not left in a folder for you to chase.
• We show you the soft spots before they are covered, not after.
• Drip edge and starter course get installed properly - that is half the wind resistance.
