SHINGLEROOFING

Notes from Jamul jobs

The job list in Jamul repeats itself for a reason - ridges here catch the first gust of every Santa Ana. From the yard it is roughly 134 miles southeast to Jamul - no travel surcharge, no week-long wait.

The same trucks cover Spring Valley, Alpine and Rancho San Diego, which keeps callbacks quick.

• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted properly instead of being crushed by a ladder.
• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.
• Solar panels get detached and reset on a schedule that matches the roofing crew.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.

We would rather be on your roof in September than during the first atmospheric river. We will tell you if the Jamul roof has years left in it rather than sell you a new one.

Questions Jamul owners ask us

Ice-and-water goes in at the valleys and penetrations even though it rarely freezes here.

• Driveways get swept and gutters cleared as part of the job, not as an extra.
• Most homes take two to four days once material lands.
• Deck repairs are priced per sheet so there is no surprise number halfway through.
• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.

Jamul in detail

Across San Diego County, Jamul has its own wear pattern, because the weather here punishes details, not products. Being 134 miles southeast of Jamul, we can be on the roof before the next rain band arrives.

You will see our trucks in Spring Valley, Alpine and Rancho San Diego on the same run.

• Dry-in happens the same day the old roof comes off; nothing sits open overnight.
• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Solar panels get detached and reset on a schedule that matches the roofing crew.
• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.
• We protect landscaping and the pool before a single bundle comes off the truck.

Summer is for planned work; winter is for emergencies nobody planned. You get photos, measurements and a plain explanation before any work is booked.

Standards we hold on every Jamul job
