Industry Metal Roofing

A roofer's read on Industry

Ask ten Industry owners about their roof and you get the same complaints: the same three details cause most of the leaks we are called out for. We are 16 miles east of Industry; crews pass through most days anyway.

Crews rotate through La Puente, West Covina and La Habra Heights, so the drive is routine.

• Tear-off debris leaves the same day; nobody is left with a pile over the weekend.
• Magnet sweeps run morning and evening, which matters on a street with kids and bare feet.
• Skylights are re-flashed as part of the job rather than quoted as an extra later.
• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.
• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.

The first big storm books out the whole trade, so earlier is cheaper. The first step is a free look at the Industry roof and a number you can hold us to.

The parts people ask about

Fascia and rafter tails get checked while the edge is open.

• Edges are fastened to spec because that is where uplift starts.
• Drone shots cover the steep sections, and the rest is checked on foot.
• Ice-and-water goes in at the valleys and penetrations even though it rarely freezes here.
• You get a text when the crew is coming and a walk-through when they are done.

A roofer's read on Industry

Roof life in Industry is decided by exposure more than brand, and the same three details cause most of the leaks we are called out for. Our shop sits about 16 miles east of Industry, so a crew is on site the same morning.

Crews rotate through La Puente, West Covina and La Habra Heights, so nothing about these streets is new to us.

• Dry-in happens the same day the old roof comes off; nothing sits open overnight.
• We work around tenants and business hours where the building is occupied.
• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.

Scheduling before the rains means the whole job happens on dry decking. If a repair solves it, we quote the repair instead of selling a replacement.

The parts people ask about

Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.

• Weather delays are called early rather than left to surprise you.
• Neighbours get a heads-up about the dumpster before it lands.
• Underlayment is where corners get cut; we use the system the manufacturer warrants.
• Any rot found under the old layers is swapped before anything new goes down.
