SHINGLEROOFING

The Bonsall version of this job

Roof life in Bonsall is decided by exposure more than brand, and the weather here punishes details, not products. From the yard it is roughly 91 miles southeast to Bonsall - no travel surcharge, no week-long wait.

Crews rotate through Fallbrook, Vista and Oceanside, so nothing about these streets is new to us.

• Solar panels get detached and reset on a schedule that matches the roofing crew.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Material is delivered the morning of the job, not left on the driveway for a week.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted where they block a proper drip edge.
• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.

Leaks found in summer cost a fraction of the same leak found in February. Ask for the inspection, keep the report, and decide in your own time.

Our habits on site

Keep the paperwork: it transfers if you sell the house.

• Driveways get swept and gutters cleared as part of the job, not as an extra.
• We check the attic as well as the roof; half of what we find shows from underneath.
• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.
• Most homes take two to four days once material lands.

Notes from Bonsall jobs

Every town in San Diego County treats a roof a little differently, and whatever fails first on these roofs fails at the edges. Bonsall is around 91 miles southeast of the shop, which keeps scheduling simple.

We are often working Fallbrook, Vista and Oceanside in the same week, which keeps costs sensible.

• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Material is delivered the morning of the job, not left on the driveway for a week.
• Satellite dishes and A/C line sets are re-flashed, not just set back down.
• Where an HOA sets colour or material rules, we match the approved list before the job is quoted.
• Tile is sorted and reused where it is sound, which keeps the roof looking original.

We would rather find the problem in the dry months and fix it on a schedule. Ask for the inspection, keep the report, and decide in your own time.

How we run the job in Bonsall

Drone shots cover the steep sections, and the rest is checked on foot.

• Change orders are discussed before anything is done, not billed afterwards.
• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.
• Ridge venting goes in where the roof line allows it, with proper intake at the eaves.
• The site is cleaned daily, and the last magnet pass happens before the crew leaves.
