METALROOFING

Why Azusa roofs wear the way they do

Ask any crew that works Los Angeles County and they will tell you the same thing - the slopes take the wind first and hold the afternoon sun longest. We are roughly 20 miles east of Azusa, close enough for a same-day look at a leak.

Crews rotate through Irwindale, Glendora and Covina, so the drive is routine.

• Skylights are flashed new rather than reused, because that is where the next leak starts.
• Chimney and wall flashings are replaced, not painted over with sealant.
• Permits and inspections run through the local building department, and we pull them rather than leaving it to you.
• Solar panels get detached and reset on a schedule that matches the roofing crew.
• Magnet sweeps run morning and evening, which matters on a street with kids and bare feet.

We would rather be on your roof in September than during the first atmospheric river. The first step is a free look at the Azusa roof and a number you can hold us to.

The parts people ask about

You get the manufacturer warranty on the materials and ours on the workmanship, both in writing.

• We photograph every slope and penetration so you see what we see before deciding anything.
• Underlayment is where corners get cut; we use the system the manufacturer warrants.
• Most homes take two to four days once material lands.
• You get a text when the crew is coming and a walk-through when they are done.

Azusa in detail

What a roof faces in Azusa is specific, not generic: the grade means water moves fast and finds every lazy flashing detail. Our shop sits about 20 miles east of Azusa, so a crew is on site the same morning.

We are in Irwindale, Glendora and Covina constantly, and the housing stock is much the same.

• Solar gets detached and reset by a licensed crew, not improvised around.
• Material is delivered the morning of the job, not left on the driveway for a week.
• Gutters are pulled and refitted where they block a proper drip edge.
• Magnet sweeps run morning and evening, which matters on a street with kids and bare feet.
• Where an HOA sets colour or material rules, we match the approved list before the job is quoted.

Summer is for planned work; winter is for emergencies nobody planned. The first step is a free look at the Azusa roof and a number you can hold us to.

Our habits on site

Ice-and-water goes in at the valleys and penetrations even though it rarely freezes here.

• Rake and eave metal is new on every job; reusing bent metal is false economy.
• You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and we hold them.
• Workmanship coverage is ours to honour, and we are still here to honour it.
• One person runs your job and answers the phone the whole way through.
